FAQ
All of our tattoo artists are handling their own inquires and will be making booking announcements on their respective instagram accounts.
We do have apprentices available for walk-in's. Please let us know what you're looking to get, size and placement.
Since communication is an important part of the tattoo process, please do not have friends or partners reach out to us on your behalf.
Yes, some of our artists will take on cover-up work. You can email us an image of your tattoo and we will be able to advise you of your options. Depending on the piece, some tattoos may need a few treatments of laser tattoo removal.
Yes, all of our artists have experience working with all types of skin tones. The goal of each artist is to provide you with an outstanding tattoo that will last. Based on their experience, the artist will select colors that work best for your specific undertone and complexion. Some ideal colors for darker complexions are crimson red, dark navy and blue, deep purples and forest greens.
When thinking about how the color will heal, please keep in mind that the ink is deposited in the dermis layer of the skin. As your skin heals, whatever your pigment is will act as a tint over the ink.
Deposits will vary on the artist. The deposit is non-refundable (no exceptions) and is credited towards the cost of the tattoo. If the tattoo is to be completed in multiple sessions, the deposit will be credited on the last session.
We recommend only leaving a deposit when you are 100% ready to get tattooed.
For the best results, a few days prior to your appointment make sure to drink plenty of water and apply lotion around the area to be tattooed prior to your appointment. The area should be clean and free of products. Avoid excessive drinking the night before. Make sure to come to your appointment on a full stomach. Bring snacks, drinks and headphones and/or a book to help pass the time. Tattoos take time to do and may run later than expected. We ask that you do not make concrete plans following your tattoo appointment.
We recommend against using numbing creams and will not tattoo anybody that has it on ahead of their appointment. It makes the skin very difficult to work with and the tattoo tends to heal lighter than it would without it.
Due to space limitations, safety, and privacy reasons, guests aren't permitted to sit in on the session.
Please notify the studio of any scheduling conflicts within 72 hours prior to the start of your appointment. Anything less than 72 hours and your deposit is forfeited and another non-refundable deposit is needed to schedule another appointment. We allow up to three reschedules before needing a new deposit. Should you need to cancel your appointment completely, your deposit is forfeited.
